The exhibition is a kind of proposal to every eager collector and also has a catalogue.
April 4th - Inrerpred hall - Exhibition 'With the scent of flowers'
'With the scent of flowers' is an exhibition including the works of more than thirty authors whose main inspiration is flowers. The selection of artists and pictures was made by the art critic Georgi Toshev - Beni. The attitude carried by flowers is represented in many and various ways: the flowers are parts of still lives or are a colourful .. in a garden, represented as an abstract ball of colours or resembling Chinese watercolours. Represented with paintings are some of the greatest names in Bulgarian art - Vladimir Dimitrov - Maistora, Georgi Zhelezarov, Bencho Obreshkov, Dechko Uzunov, Zoya Paprikova and others, as well as many contemporary artists. A catalogue accompanies the exhibition.
The exhibition is an artistic search by Angel Stanev, Emil Popov, Petur Dochev, Svetlin Rusev and Stanislav Pamukchiev in Tunis in December 2000. Provoked by the unknown world of an old Arab country, having been in touch with the thousand-year layering of times and cultures, having travelled to the ruins of Cartage and Duga, having touched the grandeur of the Rome coliseum in El-Djem, after the meters of antique mosaics in the museums of Tunis and Sus, five artists rethink their movement in space and time in an exhibition named 'Layers'. Therefore, it is understandable that Irida Gallery claims that it will become one of the events of the year. A catalogue accompanies the exhibition.
